In 2021, Brandy Schultz and Cassie Lee attended the Arctic Circle Assembly in Iceland. While there, Schultz witnessed a range of innovative solutions and recognized their potential applicability within live events, lamenting the current industry standards for reducing touring emissions. Sound Future was born from this epiphany: live events have an unparalleled capacity to accelerate positive change.

Together with Ashely O’Winter, Schultz and Lee launched Sound Future, designed to showcase cutting-edge solutions and channel funding into measurable, nature-based solutions.
